I'm in kiwiland where a 4-lettter word is synonomous with a fruit, a bird, a person, and a urinating lock opener (key-wee) ... or maybe that's a lock opener having one helluva good time (key-weeeeeeeeee) ... funny - no. It must be the whole leap day thing ... yeah I'll blame my unfunniness on that. so for those who can't do the math, that makes me unfunny only once every four years! I'm currently chilling and relaxing in nelson, new zealand located on the northern tip of the south island. check out my new ride, the 'banana boat''. Look out soccer moms! it's a toyota 4wd diesel TURBO (vroom! vroom!) minivan (kiwis here call it a people mover like those rides at disneyland - hee hee!) and of course its dressed in my favorite color! thanks for those who sent me stickers, the banana boat surely appreciates it ... and it even looks cooler now. I know, how is that even possible? anyhow, the locals here are treating me like familia and I feel really at home. everyone is just cool, or maybe its really me rubbing off on them. Yeah right, I only wish. I can't get enough of meat pies, eggs bennie and all the other breakie goodness, and oh- so-ummmmm-so-delicioso coffee. I know my travels always comprise of food...can't help it, I love to eat! I'll be headed south camping and tramping 'round in my banana boat as my sistas are coming out very soon to visit - so wish me and the banana boat good luck!
